Pearl Disability Care is a wholly Australian-owned organisation, founded by the Shehade family in Western Australia, with a collective 35 years of expertise in the health, allied health and disability and aged care sectors. Pearl began with a motivation to provide world-class senior and disability care at home so that elderly Australians and those in need could remain at home, living with independence, dignity and ease.
From these first ambitions, a commitment was made to start a business representing trust, inclusion, affordability and flexibility, while reflecting a friendly Australian local charm. As the business has expanded, these pillars have remained at the core, informing all decisions as growth continues.
Ageing-in-place and in-home disability care are relatively new approaches in our community, but ones that have come to the forefront as best practices in maintaining positive and respectful living situations for all Australians. While many providers in Australia are internationally owned, from the outset Pearl recognised the importance of having an Australian, local voice that was committed to helping individuals in familiar ways.
